About The Birdhouse

The Birdhouse is a membership based indoor golf practice and performance facility located in Virginia Beach with two locations; Oceana and Bayville.

The facilities are fully powered by Trackman technology, the most accurate golf simulator/launch monitor in the world. There are three membership tiers with discounts for various professional fields. Membership will be limited to roughly 100 members per location. All details can be found below.

Unlimited Membership: $280/mo

Unlimited reservation hours per month

Full Membership: $200/mo

8 bay reservation hours per month

Associate Membership: $120/mo

4 bay reservation hours per month

All membership rates will be discounted 10% for all medical employees, first responders, military, and educators.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once you reach out to join a meeting will be arranged at the facility of interest to complete the membership onboarding process. You will receive a PIN code for door access, granted access to the online bay reservation portal, and shown how to navigate the Trackman software.

Once you become a member you will be able to reserve a bay online and let yourself in using the PIN code. You will then be able to start your session utilizing all Trackman features.

MEMBER PERKS

The facility supplies Pro V1 golf balls, but you are welcome to use your ball of choice. There are numerous training aids and tripods as well. Each facility also offers complimentary waters, coffee, custom wood tees, and stickers to all members and their guests. There is free Wifi and cable with onsite parking at each location. Additionally, members are given more access to lesson booking compared to the general public. Lesson rates also decrease significantly from $150 per lesson to $80.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Is there a commitment?

Yes, all memberships are a three month minimum then month to month. You may change membership tiers during this time.

What are the hours?

Hours may be reserved between 5am and 11pm daily.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, there is a one guest maximum to keep the facility from getting too crowded but there is no guest fee.

Can I go to either location?

At this time membership is specific to one location only.

How available are the bays?

This varies based on the time of year, during the colder months bay rentals do increase but if you are booking 1-2 days in advance there is typically no problem with reserving a time.

All memberships may book 7 days in advance and can only hold two hours of reservations at a time. This helps make sure the facility is accessible for all membership tiers.

The Birdhouse is fully powered by Trackman technology, the number one launch monitor in golf. Trackman is trusted by professional players and instructors all over the world.

Trackman measures over 40 data points per shot. If you’re looking to dial in club path, club face, or simply get your distances for your clubs it can do it all. There are various practice features to help sharpen all areas of your game from the tee box to your wedges. The Oceana location utilizes Trackman4 while Bayville utilizes the overhead Trackman iO.

Play over 400 courses provided by Trackman with life like physics and ball reactions. It typically takes about 45 minutes for one player to play 18. You can download the Trackman Golf App for free which will transfer all data from practice sessions and rounds to your phone for you to view.
